“ARTISTIC JOURNEY – ROCK INGRAVINGS, PAST and PRESENT”

HALF DAY: 

Guided visit to Rock Engravings Park in Naquane, to discover Ancient Camuni’ s way of living through figures of animals like deer, dogs ... rites of initiation to hunting ... scenes related to agriculture like plowing, towed carts. The most representative period is the Iron Age.To see rock engravings, means to feel the emotions these men lived every day, emotions that also modern man feels.

The experience is completed thanks to Maria Luisa Gandini and her art of engraving precious stones, such as lapis, semi-precious stones like the sodalite and the simple pebble.

Participants are given the opportunity to create an engraved object, following Artist’s directives.
