A lot of remains witness the Romans civilization, even regarding summer residences on Lake Garda.
Since the 1st century B.C., Catullus, a Veronese Poet described the beauty of Sirmione, and he defined himself as the “Lord of Sirmione” since he used to spend lots of time in the family properties … Desenzano, on the other side, has been chosen by a Patrician from Milan and a simple country house has become an elegant residence.
The aim of this itineray is to underline the archaeological feature of Lake Garda visiting these important sites, as regards the dimension and the decoration.
